Shankland Trophy 2019

Thank you to all who played in this event, we had the strongest field since the tournament began with players travelling from most corners of the Country.

Bill Shankland was a sporting legend, he managed to play a number of different sports to a very high standard but Rugby League and Golf are the ones he is most remembered for. More information can be found on his wikipedia page by clicking here

The 2019 tournament it was very close, several players narrowly missing out posting aggregate scores of 147. One man managed to go one better with a 146 to take the championship by 1 shot. Congratulations to Bob Florence a first time winner, pictured below with Billy Shankland Jnr and the Captain and President of Parkstone GC.

As ever it was a pleasure to host this competition and thank you to all who took part. The 2020 competition entry will go live in January, dates to be confirmed.
