Club Ethos

Parkstone regards its ethos as key to its current success and to sustaining it in the future.

By accepting an invitation to join the Club, and as a consequence of continuing their membership, all members agree to embrace the Club ethos which is based on:

“Honesty, Integrity and Courtesy”
These values represent the “Spirit of Golf” and are essential to the game, and life, at Parkstone Golf Club.

A warm, friendly and polite atmosphere should be felt by everyone at all times. This means that members and staff alike should always conduct themselves in this manner, whether towards other members, guests, staff or visitors to the Club.

Whilst it is human nature that members will of course have a particular group of friends, this should not mean the exclusion of others. e.g. should any member arrive at the tee on their own, looking for a game, they should be warmly welcomed and if it is at all practical they should be invited to play.

Existing members should make every effort to make it as easy as possible for new members to be fully integrated into the Club.

While members will have a shared passion for the game of golf they will have different levels of ability and views. Tolerance should be shown at all times towards other members and visitors.

Membership Benefits

Belonging to Parkstone golf club comes with a range of benefits which include:
-> A vibrant & diverse social programme. Around 80% of our members live within a two mile radius of the club, many use the club as their 'local'. Members receive 25% discount on all food & drink in our clubhouse lounge and on our terraces.
-> The chance to play competitive golf! The club runs at least two competitions every month for men and women during the golfing season. Every 'section' of the club also has at least one competitive interclub team. From the juniors to the ladies, to seniors to scratch teams and participation is strongly encouraged.
-> Parkstone has reciprocal arrangements with a handful of high quality golf clubs in the area, including: Hindhead, Brokenhurst and Ferndown. We are also part of the county card scheme which allows members to receive a discounted green fee rate when visiting other clubs who also participate in the scheme.
