Wimborne Cup 2019
Thank you all for competing in the Wimborne Cup. This year was saw one of the strongest fields in the history of the competition and it was great to see the best players in the South of England competing for our flagship scratch event.
The Wimborne is usually held in mid to late June, it was moved earlier in the calendar this year due to Parkstone hosting South West Week. Please pencil the 27th June into your diaries for 2020 as we would be delighted to host you again.
The 2019 Wimborne Cup was won by a player who had never played the course before. Craig Adams shot a fine 68 in the morning, followed that up with a 73 for a combined total of 141. He just pipped Alex Christine who was consistency personified with two 71's for a 142 total.
