Dress Code

Parkstone seeks to provide a relaxed and sociable ambience in which golf can be played and enjoyed. Members and visitors are required to conform with the Club’s dress code which requires a high standard of smart conventional golf and casual clothes.

Under no circumstances are wet, damp, sweaty, dirty or stained clothes to be worn in any of the public rooms other than the 19th hole.

Denim jeans, cargo pants (trousers or shorts with pockets on the legs), tracksuits and jogging suits, and variants of these, collarless tee shirts, trainers, shirts outside trousers are not to be worn in the Clubhouse or on the Course at any time.

Gentlemen may wear tailored shorts with knee length socks or calf length white sports socks. Shorts are not allowed in the public rooms, other than the 19th Hole, after 4pm.

In the Lounge, Dining Room and Snooker Room a change of clothes from those played in is requested. Smart casual dress is acceptable.

Ladies are requested to observe the spirit of the Dress Code where, because of differences in male and female attire, it is inappropriate for them to observe the letter of it.

The use of mobile phones within the Club Lounge, Dining Room and TV Lounge is not allowed.

Anyone failing to conform to this dress code will be asked to leave the Clubhouse or course.
