About the Clubhouse
The original Clubhouse was built along with the course in 1909. Since then it has undergone a number of changes, all directed towards providing more space and better facilities as the use of the Clubhouse for social purposes has increased.
A major construction project in 2003-2004 recognised both that piecemeal changes were not solving the recurring problems and that the services infrastructure required urgent attention. Accordingly a large new locker room extension was built into the hillside above the 1st tee, an extension to the lounge and dining room was added and the interior was completely refurbished with, amongst other things, the provision of a 19th hole and a card and snooker room.
Exterior landscaping has provided extensive views over the 1st and 18th holes to the lakes and beyond.
